TUI UK has announced that it will reopen 15 lines to Croatia by May, to three airports – Pula, Dubrovnik, and Split. The return of TUI UK is great news for domestic tourism after air traffic between the two countries was suspended. This season, a larger number of British tourists is expected than last year. Last season, only 127,129 tourists arrived in Croatia from the UK, who made 685 thousand overnight stays, which is only 14.8 percent of the results in the year before. During 2019, there were 898 thousand Britons who made 4.6 million overnight stays.

The peak season of 2021 is July and August

Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium will not open trips before May 15 or early June. Scandinavians are not expected before July. Currently, August, September, and even October sell best. The reaction shown by the British market can be more or less expected in other markets, at the moment when their governments or the European Commission open travel opportunities.
