Top shopping places in Split. What a city of Split apart from the fantastic architecture, restaurants, cafes, excursions, and nightlife can offer? One of the answers is shopping. Probably one of the best options to spend a day in Split if you are on vacation on a rainy day. The biggest advantage of coming during the summer months is that most stores have seasonal discounts that are sometimes up to 70% cheaper.
List of shopping places in Split:
Mall of Split
The largest shopping center in Dalmatia with over one hundred shops. It is a large and varied offer of clothing, footwear, a large number of cafes and restaurants. I will mention only some of the brands such as Zara, Zara Home, Stradivarius, Berisha, Sinsay, House, Croop, Hervis, Nike, Massimo Dutti, Mango, Swarovski, etc. A full list of stores can be found here. Very interesting are the cafe bars on top with a great view. We were delighted with the cafe bar Cinema as a part of the CineStar 4DXTM cinema (more about it here). In 2018, Mall of Split won the prestigious ICTA Award in Barcelona for the best cinema in Europe.
This center is located in the eastern part of the city on Vukovar Street. It is about 10 kilometers from the city center. If you don’t have a car, and you don’t want to use a taxi there is a free bus for all visitors.
City Center one Split
Continuing on the same street where is located Mall of Split has located the second largest shopping center in Split. They have a couple of brands you will not find in Mall in Split such as Müller, dm, Peek & Cloppenburg, H&M, C&A. The advantage of this center is obviously in an organization that is much easier, while the biggest disadvantage is the poor choice of cafe bars. Surely all you need you will find in these 2 shopping centers.
Marmontova street
This street is the most important shopping oasis in the city center. I suggest if you are staying in Split very shortly because it is right next to Diocletian’s Palace. Probably you’ll walk down the street during a tour of the city. The main offer consists of Zara, Tommy Hilfiger, Bershka, Intimissimi, Massimo Dutti, Kruna Mode and Guess.
Joker Mall
Although the oldest of all Split shopping centers, Joker Mall has the best position for resident inhabitants who live in the center and tourists. This shopping center is smaller than the first two and therefore there are many smaller brands. The choice of shops is more than satisfying as the bars for the break.
